Monalisa Abimbola Azeh is a distinguished legal practitioner turned pioneering fashion entrepreneur and industrialist. She is the Founder and CEO of Mona Matthews, one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous leather design houses specializing in high-quality, handcrafted footwear and leather accessories.
Monalisa holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Lagos and practiced law for nearly two decades before channeling her analytical precision into manufacturing. Driven by a personal quest to find premium, comfortable footwear for unique sizes, she established Mona Matthews in 2002.
Over the past two decades, she has scaled the brand from a boutique home project into a respected, institutionalized local manufacturer serving individuals, corporate entities, and elite institutions.
