Biography

Odio Oseni is the creative director and visionary behind Odio Mimonet.

A graduate of Yaba College of Technology and the London College of Fashion, Odio has long been admired for her inventive use of Ankara and vibrant prints.

She is also recognized as a pioneer of the modern agbada style in Nigeria, reinterpreting the traditionally male garment for women and inspiring a cultural shift that redefined power dressing in the Nigerian fashion landscape.

Her innovative spirit earned her the AMFW Innovative Designer of the Year Award in 2012, cementing her role as one of the leading forces in contemporary African fashion.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, alongside her twin sister, Odio grew up in a large, close knit family. Away from the studio, she cherishes time with her loved ones, exploring new places, and drawing inspiration from her travels.

Through her artistry, Odio continues to shape the language of African fashion, championing heritage, redefining femininity, and creating pieces that make women feel powerful, timeless, and beautifully themselves.
