Femi Shittu is the Divisional Head of the Services Industries Division at the Bank of Industry (BOI) and an Assistant General Manager. He leads the Bank’s financing activities across the Healthcare, Hospitality and Tourism, and Creative Industries sectors, overseeing strategic business development, portfolio management, and value chain financing initiatives.
Since joining BOI in 2006 as a Banking Officer, he has built a distinguished career spanning over two decades across education, retail supervision, and development finance. Over the years, he has advanced through various leadership roles, contributing significantly to the Bank’s efforts to stimulate growth and investment in key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
A seasoned development finance professional, Femi has participated in numerous local and international executive and professional development programmes. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos.
